A visionary leader, and a commitment-driven individual, Mr. Katariya founded the company in 1976. A gold-medalist from the College of Engineering, Pune, Mr. Katariya is the guiding force of the organization. He has been bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers and Civil Engineer of the year 2017, by the Institute of Engineers (India). Under his watchful and supportive leadership, the Ashoka Group has truly managed to reach newer heights of success.
Mr. Parakh got on board with the Ashoka Group in the year 1982 and since then, the company has solidified its position as one of the leading highway developers of the country. In addition to that, Mr. Parakh has passionately spearheaded the diversification in the EPC projects. He has also been honoured by the title of ‘Industry Doyen’ by the Construction Industry Development Council. Driven by passion and commitment, Mr. Satish Parakh has helped carve a unique path of success for the company.
Mr. Kataria represents the next, energetic generation of Ashoka’s management team with a fresh perspective on the business. He holds a degree in Masters of Business Administration, a graduate degree in Civil Engineering and an elaborate on-field experience and expertise of over 14 years in the space of infrastructure. He has played a significant role in implementing modern methods and innovations in the construction of highways. Mr. Kataria is the Managing Director of the Ashoka Concessions Limited (“ACL”), a subsidiary of the company. He has been instrumental in entering the business of City Gas Distribution (CGD) and, in procuring finance (around ₹150 Cr) from the infrastructure finance giant, Morgan Stanley for the same business. He also brought about the investment from another infrastructure finance giant, SBI Macquire in ACL, which amounted to ₹800 Cr.
With over 10 years of experience in the construction business, Mr. Aditya Parakh is the Promoter of the Ashoka Group of Companies. He holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Reading, United Kingdom, and a graduate degree (B.E Civil) from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Mr. Parakh is currently the Director in 18 companies of the Ashoka Group (including UEPL) and a Partner in 2 Limited Liability Partnerships, both of which are in the business of construction and real estate. He played a key role in making the agriculture vertical of Ashoka Group, a leading manufacturer of organic products in Nashik. In addition to this, Mr. Parakh has also been instrumental in heading the maiden overseas road project of Ashoka Buildcon.
